Brown rice stir fry with cranberries and quinoa

  • Serves: 4


  • 2 cups brown rice
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • ¼ cup quinoa
  • ½ tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • ½ cup green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • Cutting board
  • Chef’s knife
  • Spoon
  • Medium saucepan
  • Mixing bowl


  1. Cook rice and quinoa according to package directions. Once cooked, combine them in a mixing bowl (this process can be done up to a day before preparing recipe). Before serving, add olive oil and garlic cloves to heated saucepan, incorporate rice with quinoa, green onions and cranberries. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
